Managing Your Health in 2026
If you’ve felt like you’ve been on a roller coaster since 2026 began, you’re not alone. The constant stream of news headlines alone can impact your mood and energy throughout the day. So how do we stay grounded — and even happy — in a time that feels filled with uncertainty and chaos?
The first step is taking an honest look at your daily routines. Is your phone going off all day with news alerts, or are you creating space from the constant influx of information? Are you doomscrolling before bed, or winding down with something more nourishing, like a book? Are you fueling your body with processed foods or choosing whole, supportive meals? Have you been isolating or making time to connect with friends and loved ones? These small, everyday choices have a powerful impact on how we feel.
The second step is awareness. Practicing mindfulness means bringing your attention to the present moment and observing your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations without judgment. From this place of awareness, you can begin to gently course-correct when you notice patterns or behaviors that aren’t supporting your well-being.
The third step is living in alignment. True alignment requires balance — and now more than ever, it asks us to prioritize our well-being. We can move through life from a place of fear and worry, or we can choose to anchor ourselves in love and hope. While it’s natural to experience the full range of human emotions, it’s important to recognize when it’s time to come back to center, so we can feel safe and grounded in our bodies. Ultimately, the most powerful place to focus is on what we can control — and that is ourselves.
So the next time you feel overwhelmed or out of sync, come back to these three steps:
Look at your routine.
Practice awareness
Live in alignment with love and hope
